The President of the Myanmar Maternal and Child Welfare Association (Central), Prof. Dr. San San Myint Aung, and the central executive committee members, Dr. Nwe Ni Ohn, Dr. Win Pearl, and Dr. Yu Yu Khin, visited Shan State, Taunggyi Township from Nay Pyi Taw on May 16, 2025, to open the new school building, the MCWA's Preschool.
On May 17, 2025 at 10:00 a.m., the President of the Myanmar Matenal and Child Welfare Association (Central) Prof. Dr. San San Myint Aung, Secretary Dr. Nwe Ni Ohn, Treasurer Dr. Win Pale and the central executive committee member Dr. Yu Yu Khin, together with the Patron of the Shan State Maternal and Child Welfare Supervisory Committee Daw Nyo Mi Saw, the Minister for Social Affairs of the Shan State Government and the president of the Shan State Maternal and Child Welfare Supervisory Committee, Daw Soe Pa Pa, cut the ribbon and opened the MCWA’s Preschool, the new school building in Yat Sout Township.
The ceremony was attended by the President of the MMCWA (Central), Prof. Dr. San San Myint Aung, and the Central Executive Committee Members, the Patron, president and members of the Shan State Maternal and Child Welfare Supervisory Committee, the Minister of Social Affairs of the Shan State Government, the president and members of the District Maternal and Child Welfare Supervisory Committee, the president and members of the Township Maternal and Child Welfare Association, and officials from the preschool.
According to the ceremony, an opening speech was given by the President of MMCWA (Central), Prof. Dr. San San Myint Aung. The Patron of the Shan State Maternal and Child Welfare Supervision Committee, Daw Nyo Mi Saw, delivered a welcoming speech, and the president of the Shan State Maternal and Child Welfare Supervision Committee, Daw Soe Pa Pa, delivered a thanks speech.
Next, the President of MMCWA(Central) Prof. Dr. San San Myint Aung provided school uniforms, the Patron and President of the Shan State Maternal and Child Welfare Supervision Committee, provided teaching aids for the preschool children, and the officials toured the preparations in the school building and provided nutritional support to the children.
Then, the President and Executive Committee Members of MMCWA (Central), together with the president and members of the Shan State Maternal and Child Welfare Supervision Committee, visited the maternity Homes in Taung Ni Village and Nyaung Phyu Zayat Ward, Taunggyi Township, to inspect, order necessary supplies, and provide nutritional support to pregnant mothers. They also visited the MCWA's Preschool in Nyaung Phyu Zayat Ward, where they watched and encouraged the children's intellectual performances, provided nutrition, and school uniforms. After that, the MMCWA (central) President and Executive Committee Members returned to Nay Pyi Taw.
